Though we never knew it had a proper name
at the time of the theatrical release of
the films.
This one has been a labor of love for 8 years in stages. With so much on our plate at any given time, it took a fair amount of time to squeeze it in between other projects. It was very necessary to dedicate as much time to this fantastic piece as it deserved. This is an iconic piece, very much as iconic as the helmet itself as far as we're concerned.
This piece of the puzzle has been painstakingly re-created in every minute detail. Where others have fallen short in attention to detail, we doubled our efforts to ensure nothing was left to be desired. Nothing left to the imagination.
Armed with never before seen or released reference materials, and the finest eyes for detail, we're confident that we've achieved a new benchmark in reproducing this piece. Where we normally refer to the pieces we labor for as "replicas", this time we'd like to think of this as a "counterfeit" piece. We sincerely hope you agree !
